I am not a politician, and I do not plan on becoming one. What I know I can do is represent Floridians and their best interests in
Congress. To many, the word "politician" is synonymous with liar and cheat, I choose to be honest and open with my words and
actions. I will not promise one thing and deliver another, I will not change my views to try to undeservedly get a vote. What I will do is
let you know what I have to offer, listen to what you have to say, and openly inform you how I plan to help make Florida and the United
States a better place for us, regular folks. If what I believe is not what you believe that is fine, I encourage you to find a candidate that
fits for you. But if your views and goals for Florida agree with mine I welcome and thank you for any support you may choose to honor
me with.
Working-class Candidate for Florida
Medicare for EVERYONE is something we cannot afford, or be willing to
accept from Our government!
Why is Washington trying to socialize health care while the economy remains in the toilet?
How can Washington justify the $700 billion of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) bill,
but think for a moment of denying NASA $3 billion to continue manned space exploration? Send a
letter to President Obama to make sure NASA continues: www.savespace.us
Why doesn't Congress want US to know what they are up to? What is the purpose of "closed
door" committees?
Who in Congress will actually read a 1000 page bill and fully understand it's contents in a few
days time before voting on it?
Why is Washington worrying about "don't ask/don't tell" instead of winning the war on terror?
How/What/Why...ACORN???
Why is the Dept. of Homeland Security trying to "house" illegal immigrants in hotels while
awaiting their immigration hearings?
Why has it taken President Obama weeks to decide whether or not to send troops to help our
service men and women already in Afghanistan? How many will be killed or injured while he
"thinks" about sending the forces that are necessary?
How will the Cap and Trade Climate Change Bill do anything but raise taxes and hurt
Americans?
Why does it seem our government is so out of touch with us, the American people?
Why are YOU angry with Washington and its current course? Tell me E-mail Bob
I believe you are here, reading this, because like me you are disgusted with those we trusted to
represent us in Washington and Tallahassee. You won't, don't want to, or can't bring yourself to
vote for Gov. Crist...and I don't blame you. I am running for U.S. Senate because, like you, I am
sickened by Washington's disregard, and almost disgust, for Middle-Class Americans. We sent
former Sen. Mel Martinez to Washington with high hopes and our support, he skated through four
and a half years of his term and then quit. I guess 6 FULL years of service was way too much to
ask. But citizens of Florida don't worry about that...our esteemed Gov. Charlie Crist was able to
appoint his "good friend," George LeMieux, to Sen. Martinez's vacant seat. I applaud Gov. Crist and
his audacity in appointing one of his cronies to an office he himself is running for...what a
stand-up guy. Do you need or want two years of Charlie Crist as your Senator (we all know he will
run for president in 2012), or do you wish you could go to Washington and actually do something
worth while and beneficial for America? We can't all go to Washington, but I am willing to go for
you. I want to actually represent the ideals and needs of regular Floridians, folks like you and me.
You and I are smart enough to be effective in our government, it's time we sent one of us to
Washington.
Tell me what you want your Senator to do for you in Washington, how you feel about the issues
that are important to you. Your Voice is ALL that matters After I am elected this feature will continue
on my Senate website, I will always want to know how the people of Florida wish to be
represented, it is after all, the point of representative government.
As individuals we cannot accomplish what needs to be done, but together, with your support I
am willing and honored to have the opportunity to serve you as United States Senator.

"Constellation is dead," an external White House advisor told AFP on Friday,
referring to the program that envisioned using the Moon as a base for manned expeditions to
Mars.
Under a new plan, Obama will propose boosting the development of commercial rockets and
other vehicles that can ferry US astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).
NASA is estimated to have already spent a little over nine billion dollars on Constellation,
including 3.5 billion on the Ares 1 and 3.7 billion on Orion.
The Obama administration plans to hike NASA's budget by 5.9 billion dollars over five years to
boost commercial development, with the goal of a first commercial flight to the ISS launching by
2015, the advisor said.
In the meantime, NASA will rely on Russia's Soyuz spacecraft to ferry US astronauts to the
orbiting space station after the shuttle program is retired. (Source: AFP news service)
This means the White House does not care about jobs here in Florida, nor does he care
about keeping America the leading space nation. Cancelling the Constellation program would
allow the Chinese and Russian space programs to catch up and surpass the United States in
Space exploration. The thought of spending billions of dollars on a noble endeavour only to kill it
halfway through is not the American way I remember.
I find it odd, and more than a little suspect that the Obama administration suddenly started
caring about jobs and the budget deficit once Scott Brown won Sen. Kennedy's vacant seat in
Massachusetts. The whole agenda of our new president's first year was the Stimulus Bill, Cap and
Trade, and Socialising Health Care. Interestingly enough, now that the democrats are feeling
vulnerable due to their poor governance, they have switched gears and are pretending to care
about the people instead of their own legacies. I don't buy it for a second. And as your Senator I will
continue the fight to keep America the leaders in space, and to keep jobs here in Florida.
